Pharmacological effect: Brufen (Motrin) takes part of the group of analgesics and anti-inflammatories. Brufen contains a substance called ibuprofen. It blocks the substances that lead to inflammations.

Usage: Brufen is used in therapy of rheumatoid arthritis, arthropathies, osteoarthritis and other inflammatory ailments. The medication also reduces the flu. It is used to prevent the pain such as: headache, tooth pain, menstrual pain, muscle pain and fever.

Aftereffect: Using Brufen you may encounter different adverse reactions. More usual effects are: giddiness, rash, black stools, vomiting with blood, headache and stomach pain. Unusual effects are: anxiety, sneezing, sensitive skin to light, troubled sleeping, itching, mouth ulcers, allergic reactions, problems with vision, hepatitis and problems with ears.

How to administer (optionally): Take Brufen with a glass of water usually after food. Use Brufen every 4-6 hours.
