Pharmacological effect: Xalatan takes of the group of prostaglandin analogues. This medication grows the outflow of the fluid in the eye into the blood flow.

Usage: Xalatan is used in therapy of open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. These disorders may lead to loss of vision. Xalatan lowers the tension in the eyes.

Aftereffect: Using Xalatan adverse reactions may occur. Call the emergency if you have: eye pain, eyelid swelling, inflammations, skin irritations, troubled vision and dark skin of eyelids.

How to administer (optionally): The usual dose is one drop once a day in the affected eye. After dropping wait 15 minutes and rest.
