Pharmacological effect: Trental CR contains an active ingredient pentoxifylline. This medication causes changes in the blood and eases the blood circulation. It helps the blood to transport oxygen through the organism.

Usage: Trental CR is used to increase blood flow and to decrease symptoms of intermittent claudication.

Aftereffect: Call the doctor and stop using the drug if you have the following adverse reactions: seizures, flushing, pain in chest, irregular heartbeat, giddiness, headache, discomfort in stomach, vomiting and faintness.

How to administer (optionally): The recommended dosage is one tablet two times a day. Take Trental after a meal. Swallow the tablets whole with water.
