Pharmacological effect: Zocor contains a substance named simvastatin. It takes part of the group of statins. This medication reduces the quantity of cholesterol in the liver.

Usage: Zocor is used with a diet and exercises. This medication decreases the levels of bad cholesterol in the organism and the levels of triglycerides. Zocor increases the good cholesterol that is why the drug prevents strokes, heart disease and heart attacks.

Aftereffect: Stop using Zocor if you have the following adverse reactions such as: swelling, muscle pain, unusual weakness, irritations, skin rashes, troubled sleeping, headache, depression, joint aches, vomiting, giddiness and sickness in stomach.

How to administer (optionally): Take one tablet per day. Use Zocor in the evening regardless of food.
