Pharmacological effect: PK-Merz (Symmetrel) contains a substance named amantadine. This medication stops the affection of the viruses in the organism. This medication works soft and it influences better into the plasma.

Usage: PK-Merz is used in treatment and prevention of influenza A. This drug is very resistant to different virus that is why it may be used during the flu season. PK-Merz is also used in therapy of Parkinson’s disease and it prevents its symptoms.

Aftereffect: Administrating PK-Merz adverse reactions may occur. More usual effects are: giddiness, fainting, burning, bloody urination, confusion, troubled vision and swelling. Abnormal effects are: muscle spasms, unusual face expressions, problems with breathing, chills and troubled speaking.

How to administer (optionally): Take one tablet two times a day. Swallow the tablets whole with water. Use the drug every day at the same time regardless of food.
