Pharmacological effect: Cibacen (Lotensin) contains a substance benazepril. This medication decreases the high blood pressure. It relaxes the blood vessels and helps blood to flow easier.

Usage: Cibacen, Lotensin is used in therapy of hypertension. This medicine also prevents strokes, heart failure and kidney disorders.

Aftereffect: Cibacen may bring undesirable reactions. More normal reactions: palpitations, gastrointestinal problems, flushing, insomnia, headache and giddiness. Abnormal effects: somnolence, nervousness, constipation, sickness in stomach, vomiting, pancreatitis and angioedema.

How to administer (optionally): The usual dose is one tablet per day. Take it with water regardless of food. Use it every day at the same time.
